TASI rises 0.5% to 11,078 pts; turnover at SAR 4B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed the first session after the Eid Al-Adha holiday up 0.5%, or 50 points, to 11,078 points today, May 31.
Total turnover reached about SAR 4 billion.
The index recorded highs of 11,080 and lows of 11,032.
Market Index
Kingdom Holding was the top gainer, surging 10% to SAR 13.58 and recording its highest closing price since 2016. The stock has gained nearly 27% over the last three sessions.
The company disclosed that its combined stake with the private office of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal in SpaceX stands at 0.63% and is valued between $8.32 billion and $10.55 billion, based on its expected valuation at the time of the initial public offering.
Al Rajhi Bank rose 1% to SAR 67.25.
Maaden, Acwa, Riyad Bank, Sulaiman Al Habib, Elm, Masar and SAB gained between 1% and 4%.
Almasar Alshamil, SIDC, Electrical Industries and Dar Al Arkan jumped between 6% and 10%.

Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco fell 1% to SAR 27.54.
Saudi German Health declined 5%. The Capital Market Authority convicted several board members, while the audit committee recognized unjustified gross revenues totaling SAR 358 million between 2018 and 2021.
SABIC, SRMG, Yansab, Emaar EC, ADES, SABIC AN and SIIG declined between 1% and 4%.
