TASI rises 0.5% to 11,232 pts; turnover at SAR 6.1B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.5%, or 57 points, to 11,232 points today, Aug. 25, recording its highest close in nearly four months.
Total turnover reached about SAR 6.1 billion.
The index recorded highs of 11,240 and lows of 11,158.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank rose 3% to SAR 68.95, with nearly 11.6 million shares worth nearly SAR 800 million changing hands.
Bahri, Acwa, NADEC, MARAFIQ, Elm, SISCO Holding and Budget Saudi gained between 1% and 5%.
Al Kathiri led the gainers, rising more than 9%.
MIS recorded its highest close since listing at SAR 321.40 (+6%). Around 270,000 shares worth nearly SAR 85 million were traded.
