TASI falls 0.8% to 11,012 pts, turnover at SAR 4.2B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.8%, or 89 points, lower at 11,012 points today, Sept. 2.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4.2 billion.
The index recorded a high of 11,096 and a low of 10,988.
Tensions between the US and Iran escalated again amid fears of the conflict’s escalation impacting vessel transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank fell by 1% to SAR 26.02 and SAR 66.20, respectively.
SNB, Maaden, Alinma Bank, Mobily, Sulaiman Al Habib, stc, Almarai, Acwa, Bank Albilad and Riyad Bank declined between 1% and 2%.
Dar Al Arkan dropped by 5%.
Abo Moati closed at SAR 41.46 (-1%) and Avalon Pharma finished at SAR 66.70 (-2%) after going ex-dividend.
