TASI falls 0.5% to 10,393 pts, turnover at SAR 4.7B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.5%, or 48 points, to 10,393 points today, Oct. 1, recording its lowest close since last January.
Total turnover stood at about SAR 4.7 billion.
The index recorded a high of 10,454 and a low of 10,358.
Tadawul announced changes to the market order mechanism for the Main Market (TASI) and Nomu-Parallel Market, effective as of Oct. 4.
Market Index
Acwa and SNB declined 2% to SAR 163.50 and SAR 39.20, respectively.
Almarai, Riyad Bank, Mobily, Sulaiman Al Habib, SAB, SABIC AN, Jabal Omar and Makkah Construction fell between 1% and 3%.
Knowledge City dropped 6% amid profit-taking.
Chemanol led the decliners, falling more than 9%.

Meanwhile, Raydan led the gainers, surging 8%.
Naseej and Raoom rose more than 4%, while DBS increased 3%.
Jarir, MBC Group, Petro Rabigh, Tasheel, CATRION, Saudi Cement and SIIG jumped between 1% and 2%.
