TASI falls 1.7% to 9,952 pts, records lowest close since 2021

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1.7%, or 172 points, to 9,952 points today, Oct. 20, marking its lowest close since April 2021.

Total turnover reached nearly SAR 3.8 billion.

The index hit a high of 9,941 and a low of 10,116.

Today’s decline has pushed the index’s losses to 540 points, or 5.1%, since the start of the year.

Most stocks fell, led by Saudi Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank, which slipped 1% to SAR 25.48 and SAR 60.15, respectively.

Mobily, BSF and Yamamah Cement fell between 1% and 3%. Yansab fell 7%.

SABIC AB and Bank Albilad dropped 3% to SAR 109.80 and SAR 21.47, respectively, after announcing Q3 2026 results

Tihama was the top decliner, tumbling 8%.
