US oil rig count falls 8 units: Baker Hughes

The number of oil drilling rigs in the US declined during the week ended Dec. 19, while gas rigs remained unchanged.

 

The oil rig count fell by eight units to 406, data released by Baker Hughes on Friday showed.

 

Meanwhile, the number of gas drilling rigs was steady at 127.
