Riyadh’s 5G coverage at 93.6% in Q3 2022: CST

Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) unveiled a report on 5G coverage rates and average download speeds in Riyadh during the third quarter of 2022.

 

The average internet download speed in Riyadh was 248 megabits per second (Mbps) in Q3 2022, while the total 5G coverage rate reached 93.6%.

 

In download speed, stc topped the list of telecom service providers in Riyadh with an average of 283.5 Mbps. Mobily ranked second with an average speed of 218.13 Mbps, while (Zain KSA) came next at 206.85 Mbps.

 

In G5 coverage, Zain headed the Riyadh list with a coverage rate of 89.9%, followed by stc and Mobily at 81.7% and 74.2%, respectively.
