Abdullah Ibrahim AlSubeaei Investment Co. (AIMS) transferred 3.47% of its holding in Bank Albilad to the charity portfolio of Sheikh Abdullah Ibrahim Mohammed AlSubeaei.
The transfer did not result in any change in the list of major shareholders of the bank, Albilad said in a statement to Tadawul.
According to data available on Tadawul, the list of Bank Albilad’s major shareholders on Nov. 13 witnessed a decline in the ownership of AIMS from 11.14% to 7.67%.
This represents the equivalent of 34.71 million of the bank's one billion shares.
Abdullah Ibrahim AlSubeaei is one of the founders of Bank Albilad, who passed away in May 2021.
