Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 1.4%, or 176 points, to close at 12,284 points today, May 9.

Total turnover reached about SAR 7.3 billion.

Al Rajhi Bank fell 1% to SAR 79.50.

Advanced closed at SAR 40.05 (-3%). The company reported losses of SAR 58 million in Q1 2024, contrary to market estimates.

ACWA Power declined 7% to SAR 406.20 amid profit taking.

Aldrees, Savola, MBC Group, SADAFCO, SASCO, Al Akaria, SRMG and Budget Saudi fell between 3% and 6%.

Gulf Union Alahlia went limit down to close at SAR 22.68.

On the other hand, Retal rose more than 5% to SAR 9.30. The company’s profit rose 50% year-on-year.

Saudi Re and Riyadh Development gained 2% to close at SAR 28.20 and SAR 24.10, respectively, following the announcement of Q1 2024 results.
