TASI rises 1.3% to 12,080, turnover at SAR 9.5B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.3%, or 160 points, higher at 12,080 points today, Sept. 19.
Total turnover reached almost SAR 9.5 billion.
Global index provider FTSE Russell implemented the changes today, which were announced as part of its sei-annual index review.
In addition, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) reduced the reverse repo and repo rates by 50 basis points after the US Federal Reserve cut rates from 23-year highs.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi Aramco rose to SAR 89.90 (+2%) and SAR 27.40 (+1%), respectively.
Saudi National Bank closed at SAR 35.20 (+2%).
Riyad Bank, Bank AlJazira, Arab National Bank, SAIB, Bank Albilad and Alinma Bank gained between 1% and 3%.
SASCO, Jamjoom Pharma, GO, Red Sea, Alhorayef Water, Bahri, SABIC AN and Dar Al Arkan climbed between 4% and 8%.

On the other hand, Saudi Printing fell more than 1% to SAR 12.94. The company’s accumulated losses reached SAR 218.21 million, or 36.37% of its capital.
Derayah REIT rose 2% to SAR 6.60 amid active trading of around 800,000 units.
