Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.6%, or 76 points, lower at 12,035 points today, March 2.
Total turnover reached about SAR 3.5 billion.
Trading usually witnesses a decline at the beginning of Ramadan.
Market Index
Al Rajhi Bank and Saudi National Bank fell by less than 1% to SAR 99.40 and SAR 34.80, respectively.
Almarai, Riyad Bank, Sulaiman Al Habib, Riyadh Cables, Bank Albilad and SRMG declined between 1% and 4%.
SAL and Batic were top decliners, closing 10% lower at SAR 220.20 and SAR 3.05, respectively.
Aldrees ended the day at SAR 138.20 (-4%) after going ex-dividend.
Al Rajhi Takaful slipped by 2% to SAR 163.60 after Q4 2024 profit fell 55% year-on-year to SAR 49 million.
