TASI falls 0.4% to 10,325 pts; turnover at SAR 4B
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.4%, or 39 points, to 10,325 points today, Jan. 5, recording its lowest close since October 2023.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 4 billion.
The benchmark opened at 10,370 points, touched a high of 10,434 points, and slipped to a low of 10,290 points.
Market Index
Saudi Aramco fell by less than 1% to SAR 23.41, while ACWA Power declined by 5% to SAR 169.90.
Almarai closed at SAR 41.90 (-4%). The company expects the diesel price increase from Jan. 1 to result in additional direct costs of about SAR 70 million in 2026.
SABIC, Sulaiman Al Habib, Aldrees, Makkah Construction, Electrical Industries and Masar slipped between 1% and 4%.
Bahri lost 6%.
